Gameplay
As the player controls Ben Tennyson, he travels to five different regions across the United States in order to recover all of Omnitrix's DNA samples, which Vilgax wants to use to destroy the world. Playing the game involves solving puzzles and defeating waves of enemies. Additionally, Ben can transform into different alien forms with specific abilities using his Omnitrix. Ben can only access a few of his alien forms for a limited time at the beginning of the game, but after defeating a boss, he can unlock a new alien form (Four Arms, Heatblast, XLR8, Cannonbolt, and Wildvine) and activate the "master control," allowing him to remain in alien form for an unlimited period of time or switch between aliens without draining Omnitrix energy. Omnitrix points can be collected to unlock attack combos. As well as bonuses to make the Omnitrix recharge faster, the Omnitrix can receive limited power boosts or invincibility. Each main level contains three Sumo Slammer cards that unlock features such as movie clips.
Depending on how quickly a player beats a level, "plumber ranks" are awarded. Players who earn an A rank get a "character view," usually of a boss or villain. At certain points in the main boss levels, players can execute a special attack using a quick-time event.
