Here it is. In all honesty, I didn't think I'd get it done, I'd almost drafted an apology message because I still had so much testing to do, and I was leaving for a few days, but we managed to get it done ^_^

Just a heads up: This is unbelievably rushed. Rushing, I mean REALLY rushing. As I was still writing yesterday, I had a crazy dash to get the Recollection Room up and running (which is mostly untested). My sincere apologies to anyone who finds game-breaking bugs in some arrangement of switches. I have been running through different route variations for a couple of hours now, but there are just so many. It's just that I need a break from this screen!

Aside from potentially critical bugs, there are also some variations that aren't finished. Any of Danny Leaves's alternate routes during Gina's Game is a major one. During the game, you can only choose from the red options (these were prioritized since I assume most people want filthier options ^_^).

Second, one of Danny Stays' exploration scenes is the worst offender. I won't reveal the location or what the scene is, but it will be both obvious and disappointing when you find it. Those who choose the Cheating path and Danny stays at the party and is not on the Sharing path can view this particular scene.

As for pG.. What's the content like? As a matter of fact.. It's so fucking diverse in its content, I love the graphics, and I really like how the writing runs along with it; the dynamic shift in tone and narrative fit perfectly. The most important thing to me is that you guys enjoy it! :))

Due to my absence this weekend, there won't be a patch until at least next week to fix any bugs and add any missing content. To combat this issue a little, I've added a switch in Jayce's Apartment that will teleport the player to a temporary Recollection Room with all of the content unlocked - however, using this teleport will disable saving and the RR cannot be exited. It's necessary to prevent further issues down the line, but it'll also be noted in-game.

The teleporter will be available after Elevator 4, which is the last scene before GG begins. From Elevator 4 onwards, you can access it. If you've seen all the current content, the game will notify you, except for the Danny Stays + Cheating route, which is unfinished.

Aside from the Recollection Room, the largest map in terms of file size was the Mod Shop in this entire patch. It's no surprise that the Mod Shop map contains all of Moddy's Gathering's events. Jayce's Apartment is roughly 2.5x~ the size of the Mod Shop. My brain is completely pickled, and I'm having a hard time thinking straight. Most of this is alternate routes housing their own events, but I think this is one of the biggest updates I've done in terms of writing and that's mainly so that I can accommodate the options.

As I skimmed through at speed-runner speed, each route took me about 16 minutes to complete, so if you read and view both major routes, there will be well over an hour of content.

There is a lot in here, so here is a "quick" breakdown:

P3 Interlude:

Here is where Danny is deleted or embraced. There was a mistake in the previous version, so expect a popup box during this event to correct it. The error has been fixed in the next version, so this will be removed.

In my opinion, the P4 events are short and sweet, as the party and characters are already established enough to prepare for the next.

Gina’s Game:

The two primary routes (Danny Stays / Danny Leaves) begin similarly, but change rapidly after 20 or so CGs. In both, there are Cheating / Sharing variations, mostly in the Danny Stays version (this might change, so save on a new slot) but once you've played both Stays / Leaves, you can assume you've seen most of the visual content.

GG P1 ends with Lisa getting a dare to move elsewhere. Although this dare is shared between both routes, it unfolds quite differently so they're both worth playing. The event is extended compared to the rest of GG and hopefully, it will be exciting! It's still worth playing all the CGs in this dare, even though there are a lot of crossovers between the routes.

Exploration Events

GG P1 lets you explore for a bit, there are currently three (four in the next patch) scenes to find here, all signposted with heart bubbles so they're hard to miss. One is for leaves, one is for stays, and one is shared between both. With one exception, each of these has its own variations, mostly dialogue differences.

This concludes the current content. In the next big patch, Lisa will put on some pajamas before continuing with the final phase of GG. The outcomes of routes like Danny Stays and Cheating are extremely different in this phase. After these routes lead to the final scenes, will Lisa stay at the party? Is she going home? Can she end up in bed with one, two, three, or four of the party crew? There's so much to do, but it's getting closer.

In the remainder of JP, every scene is a sex scene, so even though it's a lot left to do, it's all H scenes from here.

Since things are still likely to get moved around based on the final scenes, I would like to give you guys options rather than a string of choices leading you to one destination that you weren't aware of before you started. I kind of wish I had time to finish JP before releasing it. Of course I'll do this, but it makes things more difficult doing it this way. But there's reason #3 to back up that save file!

When will the next update be released? I'm not sure, but it's in my best interest to finish Jayce's Party as soon as possible since I need a break. Until it's completed, I won't take any time off, but once it's done, maybe a week or five days. I've been grinding Lisa for almost three years now, and I can probably count on one hand the number of days I haven't worked on it. As for my development, I've always found that if I stopped playing an instrument for a couple of days before picking it up again, I learned things faster and became a better player. Naturally, this meant stopping playing, something I found extremely difficult (and still do, since I'm a "burn the wick at both ends" kind of guy).

Anyway, that's all from me today. I’ll be hanging around for 10 minutes just to confirm things are working but after that, I’ll probably not speak to you guys until Tuesday I hope you enjoy the patch, definitely visit that Recollection Room and play everything and most importantly have fun.
